An upcoming actor, Uchenna Igboanugo, has berated movie producers and directors for neglecting budding actors and actresses.

Speaking with Entertainment Cafe, Igboanugo said that most upcoming actors and actresses like him are not given a chance to showcase their talents.

He argued that producers and directors keep using the same faces and have refused to give other people a chance.

“New talents who have already gone through acting schools should be given a chance,” he said, adding that Nollywood may lose a lot of talented upcoming acts if this trend continues.

Uchenna is a graduate of Makinis Acting School and has featured in three movies.
