After Defeat Funke Akindele Removes All Politics-Related Posts From Her IG

Following the defeat emerging from the just concluded gubernatorial election in Lagos state, Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos decisively removed relatively all her posts.

Recall that the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections were held on March 18th, 2023. However, the Lagos state governorship election was won by the All Progressive congress. This means that Governor Sanwolu will continue his second term.

Following the figures of the Lagos state governorship results, Sanwo-Olu pooled a total of 762, 134, The Labor Party Gbadebo has 312, 329, and the people’s Democratic Party has 62, 449.

Immediately after the election, Funke Akindele cleansed her page. A quick check on her verified Instagram page shows that all the posts on political matters were removed.
