Kizz Daniel Officially Changes His Name

By Agboola Ibrahim

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel has officially changed his nickname, Vado to another more suitable one.

Recall that Kizz Daniel has before now changed his name from Kiss to Kizz. But it is not uncommon in the Nigerian music industry for celebrities to change their nickname. There are notable celebrities too who after their fame resorted to changing their popularly known names. These celebrities include Toyin Aimaku to Toyin Abraham, Peter Okoye to Mr. P, 2face 2baba, and the list remains endless.

However, Kizz Daniel, the RTID crooner took to his verified Instagram page to announce the change of his nickname. He disclosed that he would henceforth be called Muqaddan and not Vado.

The Arabic title, Muqaddam as used in various parts of the Islamic world means a person placed at the head, i.e., appointee. But Muqaddam in British English means a leader or person of authority. This nickname could be translated to mean that he is now a leader of his own who dished out authority to the people.

This is coming weeks after Kizz Daniel, a father of two disclosed that he is a practicing Muslim and his Islamic name is Dhikrullahi.
