Popular Nigerian singer, Made Kuti's recent post on social media that reflected resentment about Peter Okoye's criticism to his uncle, Seun Kuti, may ultimately cause singer Okoye to withdraw his words.

Made Kuti showed in his post that he is not taking sides with Peter Okoye and will not entertain his show of disrespect to his uncle, Seun Kuti . This is when he appealed to singer Okoye not to use him as a tool to slight, insult his uncle, Seun Kuti.

Earlier today, Peter Okoye slammed Seun Kuti for calling Peter Obi an opportunist. Peter Okoye took the whole thing upon himself when he mercilessly threw shade at Seun Kutu's father, Fela Kuti, the Afrobeats legend.

Recall Seun Kuti earlier stated that it takes the effort of dedicated Nigerians to save Nigeria, not an opportunist like Peter Obi.

In addition, Peter Okoye advised Seun Kuti to learn from his nephew, Made Kuti, after he subtly painted him bad.

His post read:
Paul Okoye wrote, “Dude,I understand your frustration. But realize that the sky is big enough for all birds to fly. @burnaboy and other great artistes have climbed on our great Fela’s ladder to blow. Comport your self and pray to your god. My God has blessed my destiny & i’ll 4ever remain thankful. I’ll surely keep you in my prayers. Learn from your nephew @Madekuti cos he is well guided and clean.”

However, Made Kuti, has called on Peter Okoye to express his resentment about his unkind utterances to his uncle.

In reaction, Made Kuti in a tweet advised Peter Okoye not to use him as a toll to slight or insult his uncle, Seun Kuti, and also emphasized the need for them to remain united.

His post read:
"Good afternoon. Please do not use me as a tool to slight, insult or badmouth my Uncle. I’m not sure how we are perceived so I should clarify we stay united as a family and we intend on keeping it that way. Thank you.”
