Last week, Nollywood Reel wrote about talented actresses who have, in one way or the other, boosted their natural complexion by using skin-toning creams. This week, we take a look at their male counterparts:

Femi Eketunde a.k.a. Femi Bright:
Married to actress-cum-costumier, Salome Eketunde, this versatile actor has indeed carved a niche for himself in the make-believe industry. Apart from proving his mettle among the Yoruba actors, he has also proved to be a force to reckon with in the industry at large.

Having featured in Wale Adenuga Productions series which include: Super Story, Papa Ajasco and Binta My Daughter, he has indeed proved critics wrong on their impressions about an average language actor. He can further be described as a film maker who appreciates talent.

But just as he appreciates God's gifts in form of talent, Femi Bright obviously appreciates God's gift in form of human skin and he, alongside his wife, try to make his skin 'brighter' by applying what could be described as skin toning lotions on it.

Jide Kosoko a.k.a. Jide Babs:
No doubt, Prince Babajide Kosoko, a Lagos prince, from the Kosoko royal family, is one of the few who have contributed their immense quota to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry.

Currently the National President of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), he has extended his passion for the fast-growing movie industry to his immediate family, as Henrietta, one of his two wives and Sola, one of his children (from the first wife), are notable actresses.

Also, his antecedents in the movie industry and passion for the ANTP in particular, has helped the association a great deal, especially its current regulation process.

Although he was born into a reputable royal family, the prolific actor, director, producer and screenplayer, could be described as one who had weathered all storms to rise to the peak of his career.

Apart from his undying passion for the make-believe, Ómooba Kosoko, as he is fondly called, seems to have an equal degree of love for using toning-creams.

Kamoru Adebayo:
Although a less fancied movie actor, Adebayo is one of the actors whose physical appearances could depict the role they play in films.

Having a huge frame, his stature obviously, is a major advantage to his ability to clinch mean roles in movies. Just as much dexterity is being displayed by the actor when it comes to doing what he knows how to do best, he also has a special way of toning his already light skin.

Sikiru Adeshina a.k.a. Arakangudu:
Simply versatile and handsome, Arakangudu needs no further introduction, especially in the Yoruba genre of the film industry.

He has shot various flicks such as Íya Oko Bournvita and Ídunnu Obi, among others, just to prove his mettle, yet he lives a low profile.

Though at a point he was rumoured to be having a sizzling romance with talented actress, Ronke Ojo a.k.a. Oshodi-Oke, he denied it in an interview and claimed to be an ordinary colleague of the actress.

He is also a very good looking dude, whose skin, although not light in complexion, seems to have been enhanced by toning lotions.

Babatunde Omidina a.k.a. Baba Suwe:
Frontline actor and ace movie guru, Baba Suwe, also needs no introduction when you mention those that have made a household name out of moviedom.

Married to an equally talented actress, popularly known as Ómoladun Kenkelewu and another unpopular actress, Suwe, from whom he earned his present household name, he has also paid his dues and given his best to the industry.

He has won many laurels for his acts and was the chairman of the ANTP in Lagos State. Also, he is currently the national treasurer of the same association.

Though his clowning, in movies, is said to be his own way of correcting the wrongs in the society, Omidina's love for using toning creams is immeasurable.

Lekinson:
Actor Lekinson as he is popularly called, could be described as one of those who hugged fame in the 1990s but suddenly disappeared from scene at a time the industry had begun to soar higher.

During his active days, he was known for the often dubious character he played in movies, mentioning names of big cities and countries, he had never visited, just to convince his victims.

Although he often features in flicks these days, he is no more one of the most sought-after actors like he used to be. Lekinson's light complexion is perfectly enhanced by skin toning-cream.

Saheed Balogun:
Multi-talented actor Saheed Balogun, apart from being married to an equally talented actress, Fathia, could be described as one of the prolific actors and practitioners, who have brought innovations and glamour into the movie industry.

He recently had a close shave with death when he had a serious auto accident but came off the danger list at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, waxing stronger and better.

He has acted and produced many flicks and was recently appointed the Head of Entertainment Unit of the Remi Adiukwu-Bakare Campaign Organisation during the electioneering campaigns. Although light in complexion, he also uses toning creams to enhance it.

Atila:
Young and upcoming Yoruba actor popularly known as Atila, can be described as a stereotyped actor who plays no other role, apart from mean ones, in flicks.

Widely perceived as one of those who might not make the list when it comes to choosing the 'Handsome Actors' of his generation, he still tries to look bright by toning his skin.
