Northern Govs Dump Zoning...Say Jonathan Can Run

The groundswell of support for President Goodluck Jonathan to run for 2011 presidential elections gained momentum tuesday, when the Northern Governors Forum dumped the controversial zoning arrangement of the PDP.

Pointblanknews.com leant that Participants at the meeting which held in Kaduna, were of the opinion that Jonathan has the constitutional right to run, just like any other citizen.

This came barely 24 hours after their South South colleagues walked the same street at a meeting in Portharcout the Rivers State capital

Details of the Kaduna were sketchy at press time, but sources told pointblanknews that the Northern Governors contended that zoning was at variance with the spirit of democracy.

The South South Governors monday adopted Jonathan urging other zones to do same.

The meeting with a theme tagged "Dynamics Of The 2011 Election, South South Perspective" issued a 13 point communique read by Prof. Julius Ihiovbare.
