One of Nollywood's most promising actors, Femi Brainard and Binta Ayo Mogaji have joined the league of movie stars drumming up support for the Democratic Peoples' Alliance (DPA) gubernatorial candidate, Jimi Agbaje.

Among the Nollywood actors that went round the city of Lagos in a campaign train for the politician last Thursday were Remi Surutus, Jide Alabi, Bayo Bankole, Wale 'Sango' Adebayo, and Biodun Ayoyinka, the former Papa Ajasco in Wale Adenuga's comedy serial.

In a brief chat with Nollywood Reel, Brainard said that the idea of supporting Jimi Agbaje “came to me naturally. Not because of money or anything else but because I see him as a man of integrity. And going through his manifesto, I perceive him as not only the most mature candidate but he has a passion to give back to the society what he has got from it,” Brainard said.

And for Ayo Mogaji who was speaking at the DPA campaign office, “Agbaje is our man, this election will not be complete without him. That is why we are all here to enlighten the public on why he is the best man for the job.”
