Meanwhile, the last may not have been heard concerning the penultimate Sunday's flop of the highly publicised Fela All Star Show that was packaged by a root Raggage star, Kupa victory alongside Groove Entertainments.

The Weekend Tide Entertainment gathered that top stars like Soun Anikulapo Kuti, Ojo, Shasha, Prince Wada, Obesere, Paul Play Dairo Etchere were invited to perform at the show, however, many of them boycotted the show due to what they termed the unpleasant contractual agreement which was not favourable for them.

While some of the artistes blamed the organiser of the show, Kupa Victory, he in his own reaction blamed the Egypt 80 band for the flopped show. According to one of the executive directors of Groove entertainment who pleaded anonymity, “Soun Kuti and the Egypt 80 band that were supposed to be the main host wee in far away Libya on a musical four, as a result most artistes could not rehearse with the band, hence the show became a flop even a week before the date of the proposed event which would have been carnival like.”

The sponsors of the ill fated event like Silver Bird Television, NTA Channel 5, Multi Choice, Lagos State Broadcasting Corporation, Ltd are said to be very disappointed at the turn of event.
