KIDNAPPERS OF LULU'S MUM INCOMMUNICADO
A week after the Nigeria Football Federation's (NFF) former president's mother, Hajia Abdulahi Laraba, was abducted by unknown persons, tension is still mounting in the family as the kidnappers have continued insisting on N200 million ransom for the release of the woman.
According to a family source, who spoke with Daily Sunsport, the family is now in the dark as the kidnappers have switched off all their phones and refused to communicate to them since Friday.
'We were given opportunity on Friday to speak to our mother by the kidnappers, at least, to keep our hope alive that she was still living and with that we were relived a bit to have heard her voice after separating her from us for some days now.
The whole scenario was like a dream because we could hear her crying on phone, pleading with us to come to her rescue. Since then everybody has been running up and down, seeking help, but none is coming forth and we have also pleaded with the kidnappers but all seem to be failing on deaf ears. But as I'm talking to you now, we have not heard from them since that Friday.
They have refused to call us as they normally do and we have tried reaching out to them and all the lines they have been using to call us are all switch off. We are seriously disturbed now, as we don't know what next action to take. One week now, they have been keeping her in their custody an 82 years old woman without showing an atom of mercy, if not for us but, at least for the old woman, all we are praying for is the safety of the woman,' the concern family member said.
Meanwhile, the wife of the Kogi State-born football administrator, Hajia Abdulahi Oju Lulu, has taken a swipe at those suggesting that the kidnapped was a dummy sold by Lulu in order to escape the rot of the Federal Government.
'Well , I know whoever is saying that is doing so out of hatred otherwise, I will say anybody nursing such evil thought in his/her heart that he or she will never see good in her life as they have sit down and conjure such evil, it will come to them one after the other since they believe one could be toiling with the life of his aged mother, if it is a good thing, may they all witness it one after the other.
In fact, I don't think any right thinking person will ever think of such an evil in his life, the angry woman reacted. Let me tell you, this is no play or any form of manipulation, it is true' .
