Akpanudoedehe Regains Freedom

ABUJA, July 15, (THEWILL) - Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe who was detained in connection with the allged murder of Pa Inyang in Akwa Ibom state has regained his freedom.

The Senator who was arrested and detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja was sighted by THEWILL at the EFCC premises in Abuja while accompanying the former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Obong Victor Attah to the EFCC Wednesday when the latter answered questions from the anti-graft agency on the $300 million V-mobile share deal involving the Akwa Ibom Investment and Industrial Promotion Council and the African development Funds Incorporated.

But speaking exclusively to THEWILL, Senator Akapnudoedehe said time was not ripe for him to speak yet on his travails until the police authorities conclude their ongoing investigation on the matter.
