Following the judgment of Justice Ahmed Muhammed of Federal High Court, Lagos that sentenced the embattled star female Yoruba actress, Taiwo Akinwande Hassanat a.k.a Yetunde Wunmi to three years imprisonment or an option of a million naira fine. There are strong indications that the National Executive Council (NEC) of Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners (ANTP) led by Prince Jide Kosoko will among other issues discuss whether to extend olive branch to Wunmi
having regained her freedom after being arrested by officials of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Saturday 23rd September 2006 at Muritala
Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja for trafficking in 92 wraps of cocain (condom size).

This may be connected with the empathy her colleagues had with her while she was on trial for drug trafficking. It is expected that her case may be mentioned in the NEC meeting to be held in Ibadan, Oyo state anytime from now. A reliable source said since Wunmi does not have any other source of livelihood aside being a movie artiste, the ANTP NEC may reconsider the indefinite suspension meted on her. Sequel to this Wunmi may be invited to movie location by her colleagues who are aware that Wunmi has to raise a million naira if only to pay back those that
heeded her Macedonian call.
