No doubt Made in Warri has become a respectable brand in Nigeria's comedy and music industry. It has occupied a pride of place in the minds of artistes who look forward to it every December. The brand which, was known as Christmas Made in Warri - Live in Lagos, is conceptualized to curb youth restiveness in the Niger Delta, with Warri as launching ground.

It has hunted and grown young talents since it debuted at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos. The event, which promises the best of comedy and music will feature Ali Baba, Basket Mouth, Okey Bakassi, I Go Die, Gordons Sammie Okposo, D-Banj, Ogus Baba, Ekwe Sample and Marvelous Benji, among others. Mr. Richard Mofe-Damijo, president/ chief executive officer of White Water Limited, coordinator of the project will serve as the chief host. Mr. Mofe-Damijo said "in furtherance of our corporate ideals and objectives, the Made in Warri series is our own little effort in the encouragement of various groups and agencies towards peace initiative in the Niger Delta region."

So come Sunday, December 10, at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, the Made in Warri project will, for the first time, have the ghetto soldier, Daddy Showkey, who was recently hooked by O'jeez record label. His inclusion, we learnt, is the brand's endorsement of Showkey's contributions to the development of the entertainment industry. Within two years, White Water has successfully conducted a well participated audition and staged five spectacular concerts in Abuja, Lagos and Warri.
