Comedian, Basketmouth now Working with Love FM Uyo

Not many will remember his face because it was long time ago but popular comedian, Ernest Essien who went by the stage name, MC Basketmouth, now known as MC Miracle, is still in his game.

The comedian held the industry back in the days with his lyrical style of comic relief which he was always directing it at ladies until he left the name for Bright Okpocha.

The Akwa Ibom State-born humour merchant, who was on the scene before Bright Akpocha, was known for “Mfon-obong, itoro-obong, ima-obong, ekom-obong, dem go dey bobong bobong bong bong,” but since letting out the name, things never remained the same for him.

He had to change the name ‘Basketmouth’ to ‘MC Miracle’, to avoid clash of identities with Bright Okpocha. Well, for many who are wondering where the comedian is, he is doing fine and has even added lot of weight.

He is now a journalist but still maintains his humour while on air at popular radio station Love FM, Abuja.
