Emzor Hosts the Victorious Super Falcons in a Grand Style

It is no longer news that the Nigerian female national team, The Super Falcons on Saturday defeated their Cameroonian counterpart in the 12 edition of the Women Affrica Cup of Nations to retain the trophy and won for a record eight times. The African champions arrived in the country on Sunday and proceeded immediately from the airport to the Ambassadors Hotel, Ikoyi where they were treated like worthy ambassadors of the country and hosted in a superb reception by the management of the Nigerian leading pharmaceutical company, Emzor Pharmaceuticals Limited.

In receiving the African champions, the CEO of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Dr Stella Okoli reiterated the company’s committed to the support of Nigerian football teams.

“Emzor would always go on extra mile to support our Nigerian football teams and encourage them to always be on top of their games. Super Falcons have once again proved that, there are lot of good things in Nigeria. They have really made us proud and they shall continue to have our full support”. She said.

In his response, the Chairman, Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, thanked the company for its support and promised the federation would always try its best to ensure that Nigerian national team are always the best.

In the same vein, the Minister of Sports, Solomon Lalung also thanked the company for its unprecedented interest in the success of Nigerian Football teams.

“We are aware of what Emzor is contributing to the development of the national teams; we cannot thank them enough. We hope major companies in Nigeria can emulate them.” He stated.

The team’s captain, Rita Chikwelu who spoke on behalf of the team also thanked the company for its kind gesture and promised that the team would never let the country down.

“On behalf of my team mates, I thank Emzor for its support; it is a good thing that a company can give us a full support like this. We pray that the company continue to prosper”.
