Cossy Orjiakor was Never Arrested… Spokesperson Defends

Nollywood actress, Cossy Orjiakor, was in the news earlier this week over insinuations that she was held down at the airport by the Nigerian immigration service but she has come to clear the issue.

The actress story went viral after comedian, Alibaba, had come out to make the revelation that the incident occurred while they were both on their way to the US but unknown to many that it was a joke.

Alibaba had written; ““So Cossy Ojiakor and I were on the same flight to the USA last month. I had crossed Immigration and even checked in and realised she had not called to say she had checked in. Called later and found out they held her back at the airport for two hours. Why? I asked her. She said they said something about “No dairy products allowed” Still don’t get it.”

But Cossy, after reading what was written about her denied such scene taking place as she pointed out that the comedian was only cracking jokes which many did not understand but she added that she things don’t move her because it wasn’t something bad all the same.

According to her spokesperson, “When she saw the post she laughed because she knew that Alibaba was only joking and she does not take things like that to heart. Most times when she reads things about herself in the media, she only laughs. The only time she took offence to a write-up was when she was accused of bestiality but that is in the past. She knows Alibaba was only joking and you can call Alibaba to confirm,” he said.
