By AYO ONIKOYI
A team from the Nigerian Rebirth Project led by its founder, Comrade Isaac Balami recently visited some royal fathers across the country. The familiarisation tour of palaces of Obas and Emirs and other traditional rulers is to further authenticate the genuineness and national interest which is the core objective of the Rebirth Project.
The Nigerian Rebirth Project is aimed at transforming Nigeria through a rebirth symbolically represented in a masterpiece; a concept initiated by Comrade Isaac Balami's Cabinet-X Africa and supported by the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture. The Rebirth Project has now reached its most active stage with its subsidiary project, the Labour Room being gradually unveiled by the founder and his associates.
In the first phase of the unveiling ceremony of the Labour Room reality TV Show, Belami and his team took the key of the Labour Room to the Ooni of Ife, the Alaafin of Oyo and the Emir of Zazzau .
The team was accorded a warmth reception at the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Ogunwusi Adeyeye, as he accepted to be the royal father of the project. His endorsement of the project was the high-point of the visit where he signed on the ‘Labour Room’ symbolic key presented to him. The Ooni thanked Balami and his team for seeking his approval and assured the team of his royal and relentless support. He said he was proud of young people who not only understand that change begins with them, but equally understand that they can make the change happen now. '' As the royal father of this rebirth project, I assure you of my relentless support,'' he said. Nigerian Rebirth Project group led Comrade Balami, visiting Ooni of Ife recently.
The simplicity of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, oozes everywhere when the team arrived at his palace. The Alaafin did not only endorse the rebirth project, but also hailed the team for the initiative which he said was timely. He said '' I'm with you in this laudable project.''
Speaking at the end of the various visits to the palaces, the project founder, who doubles as the President of the National Aircrafts Pilots and Engineers, Comrade Isaac Balami said he was elated by the receptions accorded the team at the various palaces. He said, ''the fact that we got positive responses and acceptability from our traditional rulers speaks volume of our project. That's a plus for us. The Nigeria Rebirth Project is an initiative of passionate and patriotic Nigerians dedicated to rebuilding Nigeria through innovative and intellectually related Project. It has a segment called the 'Labor Room' where young Nigerian entrepreneurs are expected to come together to discuss issues that will herald the beginning of the New Super Nation of our Dream.
“The idea is that we do not want Nigerians to be seen as people who want to cut corners, we want them to be seen as people who really know who they are and strive to get what they want.
“I'm overwhelmed by the support of our traditional rulers. “Their positive remarks are now extra booster to this laudable project. We are still going round the country, and we will still meet with more traditional rulers for endorsement, support and prayers,” Balami said.
Meanwhile, a rebirth conference has been scheduled to hold on September 20, 2016 at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. Royal fathers, captains of industry and other dignitaries will be in attendance. The event which is strictly by invitation will be attended by the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari.
