Iyabo Ojo
Armed with a diploma in Estate Management, Iyabo Ojo is one of the favourite new stars in the Yoruba film industry. Iyabo who has Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) to thank for becoming an actress has also tried her hands out with producing and has the following films to her credit as a producer: Ife Odale, Bofe Boko and Osele. She is also a beautician.

Oge Okoye
Oge is an Enugu based actress who is very popular among marketers and producers. An undergraduate of the Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, Oge has landed herself a good number of lead roles for a new camera, she is definitely destined for the stars. Some of her works include: 11:45 1&2, Blood Sister 2, Separate lives 1&2, Sister Mary and Test of Love.

Funke Akindele
One of the raves of the moment, Funke Akindele, who hails from Ikorodu, in Lagos, certainly has a strong passion for acting. She started script writing as a student in the Ogun State Polytechnic, where she has an OND in Mass Communication. She then proceeded to read Law at the University of Lagos, where she just graduated.
Her first attempt at acting was in an Opa William's production, entitled; Naked Wire. Soon, the break for her came when she was picked to play the lead role in the popular TV drama on sex education, entitled, I Need to Know. Following this, she not only became a house hold name among the youths, her face also began to feature in the home video films, playing different roles in titles like: Final Whistle, Atlanta, Egg of Life and many other, including the popular Super Story[T.V drama]. She has also just released her own flick, a Yoruba language film, entitled; Ojo Ketala [Thirteenth Day]. A member of the Odunfa clique, Funke's hang-out is in Ebute-Metta, with the likes of Muka Ray, Yinka quadri, Saheed Balogun, Fathia Balogun and Iyabo Ojo. The group is also a regular face at the Down Town Salon, in Surulere.

Moji Olaiya
Moji, the daughter of highlife maestro, Sir Victor Olaiya is fast becoming one of the most popular actresses in the Yoruba industry. Some of her works include, Eko Gbona 1&2, Eleran Ara, Eto Ikoko, Iku Bolaje, Kilo Lese, Lanleyin, Mawojue and Sunmibare 1.

Sewa Coker
Another actress in the Yoruba sector, she is doing quite well and has works like 7'0' Clock (Aago Meje) and Ija Ngbara.

Doris Simeon
She came into the limelight through her role in late Yomi Ogunmola's film Olojuede. She has featured in other films such as 10 million naira and Odada. Interestingly, Doris is not Yoruba by birth but from Delta State.

Tayo Odueke
Tayo has featured in films such as Omoge, Omoge Wura, but her hit came with the film Sikiratu Sindodo, where she played the lead role named after the title of the film. She is an undergraduate studying Creative Arts at the University of Lagos.

Carol Ekamen
She walked into Nollywood and literally took over the attraction from other half caste actresses. In the last two years she has remained constant with getting lead roles. The University of Calabar undergraduate has acted in many films.

Mary Okolo
She started off with roles as an extral known as waka-pass roles, t hen as a secondary school student before she graduated into a budding actress who now holds her own. She is an undergraduate at the Lagos State University.
