New flick causes a buzz

Youthful movie producer, Arinze Ezeanyache may hit the movie market with his latest film in a matter of days if feelers reaching us are worth believing. The flick which is already causing some buzz in artistes' circles is entitled Desperate Billionaire.

Aside parading a star-studded cast, which includes Kanayo .O. Kanayo, sultry and fast rising Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Bimbo Akintola, Emeka Rising and others, we learnt that it was shot in choice locations. The movie also has some village scenes.

Studio sources insist it is a thriller and is both revealing and scary. Directed by Michael Jaja, we gathered it is the story of a fetish and cultist billionaire who, with his cohorts, worship snakes, and sleeps with teenagers for occultic and financial reasons. However, his achilles heel is his inability to put his wife in the family way.

However, reacting to insinuations that the new film may turn out a re-work of End of Money, the producer denied so via the telephone when he spoke to us.

His arguement was that, “End of Money is nothing compared to Desperate Billionaire. This is a professionally-shot movie. The story is compelling and the cast put in painstaking effort. In fact, Rita Dominic confessed that no movie had really challenged her like this film.”

A source told us it would be released soon and would be distributed throughout the country by A 2 Z Movie International
