Based on the ongoing marital crisis wrecking the homes of major Nigerian celebrities and some other issues that have been a clog in the wheel of the growth of the country's entertainment industry, popular comedian, Stanley Chibuna better known as Funnybone has penned a piece of his mind.

The young talented, funny man took to his Instagram page a while ago to talk about his fears for the industry and how the whole celebrity and fame is a scam.

“ I FEAR!!! oh yes I fear. I fear because this whole FAME thingy is a SCAM. It is a scam cause you enjoy it, feel fly but yet the reality is more like a silhouette. You only see it if you step aside and take a second look at yourself. (That's if you ever remember)

Same people who cheer will boo. Same people you struggle to support will turn around and stab your back. The moment something goes wrong they begin to ask.. 'wetin him take all him money do sef'

FAME!!! The expectation is usually high. Everyone wants a piece of you. You pay double the price for almost everything, simply because they say you're a celeb.

Your whole life and privacy sown to the wind. People piss you off and annoy you, but you play mute or walk away because you ain't supposed to react. Why??? You're a public figure
You visit the mechanic often because people hit your car on a daily and you just let them go. But you if by mistake you hit another man's car you fix without delay. Why?? They assume you're loaded and can afford it.

Expectations on a steady rise. Yet the industry, I mean entertainment industry keep increasing in number but not STRUCTURE.

NO be everybody artist go blow like psquare.. And no be every comedian go make am like Ali Baba. And not every actor will be comfortable as RMD. Even if it were meant to be so, the industry offers little or no structure.

I recall having a convo sometime this year in largo, Maryland. Dude said Hollywood actor Will Smith got paid millions of dollars for the rerun of FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR.. For a while I paused. I was seven when that show aired. But actors still get paid for that same material. Bill Cosby earned even more for his specials and rerun.

Our immediate audience and viewer's here in Nigeria according to the late Ola Rotimi is wait and take orientated.

People judge you like they own your life. Why?? YOUR A CELEB SCAM!!!!! SCAM!!!!!'', he lamented.
