D’banj Expresses His Wish To Work With Don Jazzy!
SAN FRANCISCO, February 20, (THEWILL) – Many fans have agitated for collaboration between D'banj and his former partner Don Jazzy for so long now it's beginning to seem like an unattainable dream.
However, it seems that might be changing anytime now going by D'banj's statement at the 60th birthday party held in honor of Chairman of Silverbird Entertainment Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce yesterday night.
During his stage performance, the senator asked that the duo bury the hatchet and work together on a song. “Please do this for me, it is my birthday request”, he said. The Eja'nla himself, D'banj responded saying: “Sir, I have given serious consideration to this. Before I came on stage, I went to Don Jazzy and asked him to join me on stage….If he (Don Jazzy) gives me a beat today, the song will be ready the next day.”
Does his mean we can get a single from these two by say … April?
We should point out though that when Don Jazzy was called up to join D'banj and the senator on stage he was MIA. Stage fright perhaps…?
