May D Plans To Relocate To Lekki?

Lekki area of Lagos State is one area celebrities have comfortably turned to their homes. Apart from being a posh area, the seaside location of the zone makes it attractive to the wealthy in the society.

This has made it very common to see artistes leave Lagos Mainland for the Island immediately money starts coming in and sometimes, it is to show that 'I belong to the high class too'.

Though there are high class areas in Lagos Mainland like Magodo, Ikeja GRA, Omole Estate, but showbiz personalities prefer to have houses in Lekki area. Only few celebs including May D, P-Square, Oritsefemi and others live on the Mainland.

Some days ago, May D recounted a sad experience he had in the hands of men of the Nigeria Police and he revealed that he might consider leaving his Magodo abode for the Island like his other colleagues.

He alleged that police officers harassed him for using a hover board, and that the policeman even threatened to shoot him.

May D had said, “I'm not going to keep quiet on this, they used tear gas on me and assaulted me even they almost shot me just for using my hover board at Shoprite; what illiterates. Brought out a gun to shoot me for what? Anyway, they will say we are in Naija and nothing will happen, no wonder peeps don't like Mainland. This thing is really baffling me because don't they know what it is?

With the hint, it seems the singer is seriously considering relocating, at least, to roll well with his colleagues on the Island, especially Davido.

Before getting an apartment in Magodo, May D was formerly living at Omole Estate with the P-Square brothers.
