NGO felicitates release for 20 inmates in Yola

A None Governmental Organization known as Fombina Grassroots Development Association on Monday facilitates the freedom of twenty prisoners in Yola Adamawa state.

Alhaji Abubakar Njidda, the project manager of the association made this known during presentation of assistances to the inmates in the Yola prisons

Njidda explained that the inmates who regain their freedom from the gesture were those jailed on civil cases at Jimeta and Yola Prison yards.

" The association has paid for fine of twenty inmates who are jail for civil cases at Jimeta and Yola prisons.

" The gesture is inline with the aims and objectives of establishing the organization in providing aid to those who are in need of assistance." Njidda said.

He maintained that the Organisation would continue to follow due process of law to regain people freedom.

Speaking to the released inmates,the district Head of Yola, Alhaji Sa'adu Bawuro charged them not to engage on any act that would return them back to the prison.

Bawuro advised them to go into clean earn venture that would enable them self reliant to take care of themselves and their families.

" I hope that you have learn a lesson from your little stay in the prison.

" I prayed , as you go back to your respective families you will now become useful to the society." Bawuro pray.

The Monarch commended the organization for it's support and rendering service to the less preiveiledge and urged others from the area to emulate the gesture.

A special gives and cash were presented to the released inmates by the co founder of the organization , Alhaji Saidu Jarumai.
