I Cannot Act In English Movies Because I Did Not Finish My Education - Fausat Balogun

Through this period when artistes are crossing over to other ethnic grounds in Nollywood industry, some of the veterans might still be finding it hard to interpret roles out of their comfort zones.

For Madam Saje whose real name is Fausat Balogun, has revealed why she does not feature in English movies in Nollywood. She said her incomplete education process while growing up is to blame for the inability to handle English movies offers.

Speaking with Dailt Times, she said, "Yes, I believe it (completing my education) would have helped my career but I thank God for where I am today. There are a lot of people that are well read but have not achieved what I have achieved today.

'If I had completed my education, I probably would be a regular face in English speaking movies. I can speak English and I also get offers to feature in English speaking films but I reject them most times. I don't want to do a job I would not be proud of. I thank God for where I am in life."
