Chidi Lloyd’s Failure Marks An End Of A Bestial Legislature In Rivers – Pdp

Commends Rivers People For Voting Him Out

By Rivers State PDP

The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has described the crash of the outgoing majority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr Chidi Lloyd in the April 11 Poll as a good omen to Rivers people, particularly the Rivers State Legislative Assembly, as the beastly desires and actions perpetrated in the supposedly hallowed champers of the 7th Assembly have been brought to an end.

The PDP gladly celebrates the exit of a brute from the Rivers State Assembly, which for 12 years was under siege and has now been liberated by the popular wish and commendable decision of Rivers electorate, who at the poll demonstrated their abhorrence of culture of violence, rascality and landlorship trait in the Assembly by Chidi Lloyd and his colleagues.

According to the PDP, the people of the State have broken the jinx of the Assembly and can now hieve a sigh of relief with the coming on board of a team of sound minds and legislative experts, duly elected by the people in a free and fair electoral contest on April 11.

While wishing Chidi Lloyd and other contemptible members in the 7th Assembly well in their future endeavours, the PDP believes that leadership desperation has no good reward and history, advising that they toe the path of honour by accepting defeat and embrace the part of peace for development in the State.

Expressing regrets over his bad records while serving as a member of the Assembly, the PDP however admonished Child Lloyd to apologize to Rivers people, turn a new leaf and begin to use the billions of naira siphoned with his master, Gov Amaechi, from the coffers of Rivers State treasury to initiate action-packed development programmes in the State, particularly in his constituency, where he did nothing to justify his 12 years on the saddle (in the Assembly).

Chidi Lloyd’s case should be a lesson to everyone who seeks political office and carry out activities of government the way he (Lloyd) did, not considering the sanctity of human life, the welfare and joy of the people (the electorate) and the development of at least his Constituency (Emohua).

It is a thing of joy that he is gone and gone forever politically, coupled with his and his master’s dimed and depreciated political relevance in the State.

We commend Rivers people for proving to Chidi Lloyd and Amaechi that they no longer enjoy their relationship by voting them out of power, even with their strength of incumbency.

The PDP assures Rivers people of a better and functional Legislative Assembly on its inauguration and believes that the newly elected members of the PDP family will not disappoint them like Chidi Lloyd and his colleagues did.
