Pastor Bakare prays against those who wished Buhari dead

Senior Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly (LRA), Pastor Tunde Bakare,  at the church's headquarters in Lagos on Sunday prayed that all thos who wished Nigeria's president-elect,  Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, would die before him.

According to the fiery preacher who in 2011 dabbled into politics when he became a running mate to Buhari in the presidential election asked in prayer that Buhari “will attend the funeral of those who wished him dead.”

“Lord preserve the lives of the President elect, Vice President elect and the current President. Everyone who has ever thought GMB will die, he will attend their funeral,” Bakare prayed during the main service.

Bakare is rumored to be among those that might play prominent role in Buhari's administration.

President Goodluck Jonathan had announced he'll hand over power to Buhari on May 28, a day before the official hand over date.

Many are wary of the change and there are rumors that some people might try to harm the president-elect during the period.
