SAN FRANCISCO, March 26, (THEWILL)  – House of Representatives Candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Eniola Ajayi, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – led government in the state of planning to manipulate Saturday's election by using the security operatives.

Alleging harassment and intimidation by the Joint Security Forces on the alleged instruction of the Ekiti State Government and the Presidency, Ajayi said in a statement issued Thursday that his residence had been raided severally as the operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have allegedly put his residence under lock and key.

The statement reads: “It is urgent I bring to your rapt attention one of the many plots of the Security agents and the PDP government of Ekiti, in an attempt to twist the process of the 28th March election.

“It is most unfortunate that I share with you that my residence was raided early hours of today (Wednesday) by Joint Security Forces of DSS, Police and others in their large numbers. As I speak, my house is under lock and keys by the police and DSS on the directives of the PDP and Presidency.

“I will not need to tell you again that this is a repetition of the crude militarisation and harassment of opposition candidates and perceived

political enemies of the PDP. This was exactly the brute force used during the last 21st June 2014 Governorship Election in Ekiti.

“It is most unfortunate that the security forces have not learnt from the scandals of the most recent Ekitigate. We had thought that the security

forces would have stopped being a pun in the hands of the PDP.

“Though the scheme to forcefully arrest me failed because the good people of Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Governments, where I shall be voted to represent them at the lower chamber of the National Assembly resisted them but we shall ensure that the voice and votes of our people count by following the laid down rules of INEC. It is disgraceful that Nigeria Security Systems couldn't disappoint us by doing the right thing, even though many pundits have described them as the witch-hunting organ of the ruling PDP.

“An end shall come to all of this militarisation and victimisation soonest. The people shall vote for us, the APC and we shall CHANGE Nigeria.”
