Johnson Somadina Anene is a philanthropist, an educationist, a humble and comely personnel and above all a grassroots' mobiliser.
He has spent over 24 years of his life in the FCT, all these years he stayed in the FCT he has been involved in the developmental strides of the Capital Territory, with those who piloted the affairs that made FCT what it is today. Amongst many philanthropic gestures he has extended to people in the past and now is Job creation to the unemployed graduate roaming the streets in search of jobs and in the area of skills acquisition he has done marvellously well by training interested participants to come and learn a trade that will help build and secure their futures in all walks of life. And one of the exciting thing that excites him the most is reaching out the less privilege and the down trodden ones in the society.
He holds both Bachelor and Master's degrees from UNN and FUTO respectively. Because of his charismatic leadership which he has shown over the years, he served as the president of ROTARY CLUB of Abuja at different times and later was made the vice president of ABUCCIMA and president Abagana Welfare Union (AWU).
Addressing a group of journalists that recently visited his campaign office in Wuse Abuja Hon Johnson Somadina Anene expressed a lot of concern and worries about the current leadership of the FCT especially in the National Assembly precisely their representative in the House. Johnson who is the candidate of the labour party (LP) for the House of Representative made known to journalists his intention to vie for the House and that if he is elected he will guarantee security of lives and properties within the FC;, introduce measures through legislation that will curb the incessant demolition of building in the FCT. He also promised to aggressively promote and support bills that will secure the provision of basic amenities to the people. And most importantly ensure that every child who is of school going age goes to school. Finance will never be a hindrance to any child who intends to go to school. He promised that scholarship will be provided at home and abroad to his disadvantaged constituent's. As the chat got hotter and interesting he said that “I supported the present member House of representative in 2011 when he was vying for the first time thinking he will make adjustment in those areas that his predecessors didn't do well but to my amazement, he is even worse than them
and I said to myself why if you go and make that change you have been craving and yearning for if it is not forth coming. And one thing clanged to my ears just take that bold step and correct the ills in the system and that is why I am contesting for this post today. And I tell you word God has bless me beyond measure, I am comfortable as I am my decision to vie for this post is to be able to reach out to others in a more convenient and comfortable platform through quality and competent representation in the green chamber of the National Assembly.
“And finally I want call on all eligible voters to come out in mass to vote for me and my party the labour party come March 28, 2015. The only party that dignifies your labour and have dignity for humanity no matter your tribe or religious affiliations. “
