Korede Bello's latest song, 'Godwin' is gradually becoming a national anthem. And the Mavin Records artist has also won the heart of many with his musical talents and self-confidence.

The young budding star would have been found wanting in the entertainment circle if the boss of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, hadn't come to his rescue.

Korede made that known recently when he said he would have been a footballer or an accountant, as he didn't see his career moving forward in music.

“I have never thought of being a music star. And funny enough, I have always wanted to be a footballer or an accountant. I didn't really see music as a career. Actually, I saw it as a passion and a hobby. I didn't know I was going to do music professionally until recently, during my secondary school days. I go to the studio doing recording seriously. I started seeing music as my life purpose. I see it as an opportunity to serve humanity,” he said.

The likes of Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Di'ja are some of young upcoming artistes under the tutelage of Don Jazzy and his record label
