Sdp Flags Off Gubernatorial Campaign In Taraba
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has kicked off their grass roots campaigns in Lau and Karim Lamido LGAs of Taraba state,where the gubernatorial aspirant Mr David Sabo Kente (DSK) received a warm welcome with hundreds of people cheering his slogan along the riverine area of Lau and paddled him through karim Lamido with a special engine boat.
David told the mammoth crowd of his readiness to be a good servant to them through the flat form of SDP the only party with the honest people in Taraba,his coming to political lime light is as a result of how bad people are allowed to govern the good people which do not always bring any significant changes in the state.Kente made a u-turn from PDP to SDP after a controversial primaries of PDP tilted against his favour, his defection became a mass exodus of thousand of PDP members who are always ready to support his political ambitions
"You are aware I am now in SDP a party for social justice and truth to bring devidents of democracy in it's fullness in any part of this state an issue became a mare mirage for PDP to do,I am standing in this podium with my deputy governor assuring you of good Education, good roads,to create jobs for our teeming unemployed youth, we will use our good policies to harness the many minerals resources we have in the state in order to generate internal revenue ,our women will be touched with women empowerment programs and our health sector will be given a special priority. All this by the grace of almighty shall come to pass." Kente promised
The gathering that shock the residents of the areas as the have never seen such a mammoth crowd coming from all works of life to see and hear the person that turned the politics of Taraba upside down to the benefit of common people
A resident of Karim Lamido Baba Adamu liking the Sambo as the another Messiah of Taraba seeing the uncontrollable crowd that got the Karim Lamido square.
"Believe you me Taraba is for Kente because is the saviour of our time,we are suffering in this state, we heard much about this man being an erudite philanthropist and a sympathizer of the less privilege I will personally use my resource and all that I have to canvass votes for him". Baba said
While addressing the crowd Kente introduced other aspirant vying for various positions in the party (SDP)
