PDP Replies Ibim Semenitari over Attack On Wike

…Says Controversy Over Her Parentage Affects Her Perception of Issues

By Rivers State PDP

The attention of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been drawn to a verbal assault on the person of the PDP Governorship Candidate, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari alleging that Wike is 'a known thief'.

In as much as Semenitari's vituperations are laughable and baseless, the PDP believes that Mrs. Seminetari's parental disorder has affected her psyche, resulting in her inability to mind her words, understand their usage and decipher their meanings.

Suffice it to say that if anyone is a 'known thief' (to borrow Semenitari's phrase), it is her principal, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, who hides under the cover of white elephant projects to loot Rivers tax payers' money to fund Buhari and Dakuku's campaigns.

The PDP further states that if anyone is a thief, it is Dakuku Peterside foisted on the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, who over-inflated contract figures when he was Commissioner for Works and delivered substandard road projects and without specifications and due process and amassed questionable wealth at the expense of Rivers people.

In view of the foregoing, the PDP in Rivers State challenges Ibim Semenitari to disclose to Rivers people and indeed, Nigerians who her parents are. This is because, anyone who upon birth should know her parents and if went through proper parental tutelage would not speak carelessly or give in to perverse deviation from expected norm.

Consequently, controversies surrounding who her real parents are have prompted the PDP to challenge her to disclose the names of her parents.

The PDP therefore, denies all of Semenitari's allegations against Wike, describing them as those of a dishonorable woman who lacks respect for her elders and superiors.
