2015: Rivers PDP Commends Non Indigenes For Their Support

By Rivers State PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter has described as highly commendable the warm support and show of solidarity accorded the Party and Governorship standard bearer, Chief Barr Nyesom Wike by Non Indigenes in the State.

Expressing the appreciation of the Party through a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Jerry Needam, the State chairman, Bro Felix Obuah stressed the good relationship that has endured between the PDP and the non indigenes, reassuring that the incoming administration led by Chief Wike whose friendship and personal relationship with non indigenes in the State cut across the entire country will enjoy a boost to improve on the existing co-operation.

The PDP State chairman noted the tremendous roles and contributions of non indigenes to the growth of Rivers economy and social life, and assures that the PDP government would adequately appreciate all non indigenes.

Bro Obuah appealed to the non indigenes to remain faithful and unwavering in their strong resolve to support President Goodluck Jonathan for President and Chief Barr Nyesom Wike for Governor and all PDP candidates under whose leaderships their personal and collective interests are better protected.

The Party chairman reaffirmed the inalienable rights of all Nigerians to live and prosper in any part of the country as not only constitutional but natural and cannot be tampered with, by the PDP government.

He berated those cajoling and inciting non indigenes in the State against others as anti-democrats who are seeking for cheap political points and unmerited votes, describing them as failures because their tricks have been exposed and shunned.
