How 2015 wise voting will change the permutations in Nigeria politics

Every right and left thinking Nigerians surely knows who to vote for and why they have to vote. Not because of the sweet stories and promises that we read and hear everyday, Nigerians shall take their political decisions based on previous and present actions taken by the candidates and their character.

Unfortunately, we cannot judge them based on the people they sorrounded themselves with, at least for now, otherwise, we may not vote anyone of them.

If only the presidential candidates will concentrate on dishing out facts and figures on issues relevant to the yearnings of the people of Nigeria and stop this nonsense campaign of insults and embarrasments.

I believe we should blame ourselves for seeing this coming and not avoiding it.

Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi founded the  National Conscience Party (NCP) and we did not trust him with our votes not even at a local government level!

We all know what he stood for, his sufferings to make life bearable for us as people, his brilliant and courageous performances, his uprightness and steadfastness. At the end of it, we lost him.

Today, most of us are begining to appreciate Late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti for his revolutionary and intelligent lyrics he composed and rendered beautifully to fight oppresion, corruption and other maladies in our society. He formed a political party called Movement of the People (MOP) and we did not trust him with our votes untill we lost him.

The 2015 voting pattern will change the permutations of politicians in this country and many of them will never come back into the 'industry' again.

Nigerians are coming up with a voting pattern that will not be based on religion or ethnicity, they will take good decisions that will change their lives not because of what the professional politicians are telling them. Not because of some nonsense endorsements by some celebrities and superstars. Not because of any godfather or godmother. Not because of internet presence. Not because of friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter. Nigerians are now wiser.

All candidates should be prepared to face the people of this nation with their plans to govern and be ready to answer questions.

Nigerians will not condemn you for being rich, but they will want you to simply declare your asset.

Nigerians will like you tell them how you will create employment and not just to say we shall create jobs for our youths. They have heard that before and to most youths, it makes no sense to them again. Nigerians will want to know how much you are earning as a senator, representative, local government chairman, house of assembly lawmaker.

Nigerians will like know how you will fight corruption, knowing fully well that members of your political party are not immune to corruption. Nigerians will like to know how the budget deficit will be corrected.

Nigerians will want to know how you will fix the bad and dangerous road networks in the country. Nigerians will like to know how you will fix the decaying educational system. Nigerians will like to know how you will fix the healthcare issues.

Nigerians will like to know how you will pay the pensioners regularly plus their arrears. Nigerians will like to know how you will fix the national security issues.

Nigerians will like to know how and when the electricity issues will be fixed.

You can now see why our voting pattern will change your calculations.

We shall support only the best candidate to win the 2015 election at all levels. So shall it be.
