Asoluka calls for election of credible candidates
Says, it’s the remedy for quality representation
Frontline Owerri zone senatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Chris Asoluka (Okwuruoha), has advised Imo people to vote for candidates who have not only good and unquestionable characters, but those who have the interest of the people at heart.
Dr. Asoluka who made this charge at a media parley with the press in his Ihiagwa country home expressed regrets over the jostle for political offices by those he said, have no interest at heart because they don't have an idea of how the system runs.
Therefore, while opting for personal aggrandizement to occupy a public seat, he urged Imo people to shine their eyes so as to elect the right and credible candidates come 2015 general elections.
The Owerri zone senatorial aspirant under the platform of the PDP said, the Red Chamber is for mature minds, added that if the people must have a strong and better voice through quality representation “they must vote wisely.”
Okwuruoha who was the former President-General of Aka-Ikenga and former National Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo promised to complement the effort of the incoming Imo governor in 2015 if elected as the next Senator to represent Owerri zone at the National Assembly.
