Nigeria's most followed comedian, AY, has moved AY Live to the new Federal Palace Hotel & Casino in Victoria Island Lagos, and the concert has been scheduled to hold on Easter Sunday. The relocation to a new venue, it is gathered, is due to the crowd the event attracts, the followership it commands, and the plan to make guests more comfortably secured.

“We have discovered that the former venue is small,” AY said, “that is why we are going to a bigger place – a venue that defines class. When we started four years ago, we started small but the good lord has enlarged our coast. Just last year, we took AY Live to Kaduna, Abuja, Benin, and Port Harcourt. Every place we went, AY Live attracted record breaking crowd. In Abuja alone, we were forced to do two shows, and in Port Harcourt we had a record 7000 people in attendance. With this in mind, we decided to move AY Live on Easter Sunday to Federal Palace Hotel – a place that will contain and permit the carnival experience we anticipate.”

Based on its increasing followership and success, AY Live was awarded the Comedy Event of the Year by the National Youth Council of Nigeria in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development.

The success story is expected to be reenacted on the fourth day of the fourth month in AY Live's fourth year, when Mike Ezeronye, Ini Edo, and Big Brother's Kevin Pam would be the Masters of Ceremony at the event Comedy nobles like Klint D Drunk, Koffi, I go Dye, I go Save, Holy Mallam, Gordons, Seyi Law and a host of AY's Open Mic winners are prepared to be at their amusing best.

At the same event, Chocolate city's most incredible, MI, will be 'spitting fireon the same stage that will also carry Tuface, Faze, J. Martins, Da Grin, Keffe, Bigiano, and DJ Zeez,
