Osun Election: Lai Mohammed, Others Arrested, Released

Some members of the  All Progressives Congress, APC, including the Spokesman of the Party, Mr Lai Mohammed were  said  to have been arrested early Saturday by the Police.

The APC leaders were released after they had  made statements at the Police State headquarters, Osogbo.

Those allegedly  arrested were Senator Bayo Salami and Mr Sunday Dare.

Salami who later spoke with our Correspondent on phone said the security guard in his house was whisked away by the security operatives.

He said the security guard later returned to his residence after several hours.

Salami whose residence located at GRA area, Osogbo was invaded by Soldiers who shot into his house when they could not gain entrance.

He said that his bullet proof doors were shot by the Soldiers.
