FG Commissions Five New Staff Housing Estates In FCT

SAN FRANCISCO, June 24, (THEWILL) - The federal government on Monday June 23, commissioned five estates built for public servants in the FCT as part of its corporate social responsibilities.

Minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed during the commissioning of the housing estates financed by the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board commended President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan whose pledge to improve the lot of Nigeria's workforce has not only been fulfilled, but his promise of providing additional funds for public servants to complete their housing projects, is being fulfilled through the establishment of Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company.

The Minister, who was represented by Engr. U.J. Jibril, encouraged the Board to explore this new housing policy for more funding for the public servants housing scheme.
