DISSOLUTION OF FEC, PLOT TO DECLARE YAR'ADUA INCAPACITATED

By NBF News

Former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has said the recent dissolution of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) by the Acting President Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is a ploy to declare ailing President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, permanently incapacitated.

Tsav told Daily Sun in Abuja that 'the dissolution of the FEC by the acting president is a scheme to inject a crop of fresh blood into the FEC, who will not only be loyal to the Acting President, but will ever be willing to declare Yar'Adua permanently incapacitated and thus pave way for Jonathan's complete take over as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

'The dissolution of the Federal Executive Council is not in the overall interest of the nation. In the first place, those appointed as new ministers will understudy their ministries for sometime before they settle down to work. But how long will this take before election campaigns commence? They will surely not perform.

'The dissolution of the Federal Executive Council is counter-productive and a final onslaught against Yar'Adua,' Tsav said.

Nigerians had since the dissolution of the FEC, eulogized the acting president for his valour in dissolving the cabinet constituted by ailing President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.
