UBA launches Next Generation Account for youths

United Bank for Africa (UBA), one of the leading banks in the country offering various forms of financial services on Monday launched a product for the youths.


Declaring the event open in Lagos,  Mr. Femi Olaolukun, Executive Director,  Treasury and International Banking who represented the group managing director said the numerous students and teens who graced the occasion are  the future and should be nurtured with a tailor made account to guide them as they grow.


“We want to partner with you on your growth part because from experience managing success poses a serious challenge for upcoming youths and for us, we have the requisite experience spanning decades to support you,” he said.



He said that the new account christened “Next Generation” was designated for principally for the young ones to help in the management of their finances and exposes them early to financial control.



“It start with you when you are young.  Helps you to manage money. It helps you to become an entrepreneur, attain financial prudence, helps you to realise your dreams.


“You can actually be financial independent because you already have a foundation of saving culture before you actually mature to know the direction you are going in life.


“Life is full of challenges but once you are equipped with cash backings augmented over a period of time,  you have an edge over your contemporaries in terms of forging ahead with life.


“You stand a chance to gain employment into the bank if you are holding this account from your young age.


“Even when you start your own business, we offer you advisory services to help you to become a great leader of tomorrow,” he said.
