IN NEW ORLEANS, THE SUPERNATURAL WORLD IS REAL AND ALIVE

The spiritually-dimwitted discounts the reality of the supernatural and spiritual worlds. The supernatural realm is different from the spirit realm. Satan and his demons, including their human followers operate at the supernatural realm and that is why they cannot see the Lord God Almighty when they engage in their astral-projections, because the Sovereign Lord God Almighty lives and operates in the highest realm, which is the spiritual world. Apart from atheists and agnostics who have already chosen their eternal destinies here on earth, the spiritually-complacent that are limited to the material world in their warped understanding are the most to be pitied. The Holy Bible refers to the latter group as 'the simple-minded and fools' (Proverbs 1: 32: For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them). Many of them who disavowed of the veritable powers of the supernatural and spiritual worlds on our material existence end up becoming collateral damage during spiritual warfare, because in the war between Good and Bad for the souls of human beings on earth today, there is no median lane or splendid isolation. Every human being that lives on earth operates in the supernatural and spiritual realms every day each time you sleep and dream. The dream state is the window to the supernatural- spiritual worlds. If you're a human being and do not sleep either in the day or night, then you are immune from this spiritual warfare. Only fools and the spiritually-obtuse say there is nothing more to life than the five senses and once we die, it's all over. Once you die, it's all just beginning, trust me. Eternity is real; it stretches beyond time and space, it is ad infinitum and that is why we can't put a time unto it. You choose which part of the eternal spiritual divide you want to live permanently right here on earth, because ' what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal' (2 Corinthians 4: 18). Again, as I issued the challenge last week, if in doubt about the reality of the supernatural-spiritual worlds, come with me to New Orleans.

I often ask which city qualifies as Satan's headquarters between Cassadaga and New Orleans in North America. The latter rings a bell because its activities are disguised as cultural, traditional and tourist attractions pepped up by post-modernists, but Cassadage is unknown. Called the 'psychic capital of the world,' Cassadaga is a sleepy town in Volusia County in Central Florida where witches, wizards, psychics, mediums, necromancers etc. operate in plain sight. In the 21st Century, those who pride themselves as urbane, intellectually-sophisticated and 'do not believe in these religious stuffs' or treat the Holy Bible as ancient stories and relics will be surprised that Cassadaga is a place where everything come to light. First, I will not advise you to go there out of curiosity. Second, it's dangerous to dabble in the heavy spiritual stuffs going on there and lastly, if you're a child of the Living God and have taken the Lord Jesus Christ as your Personal Lord and Savior, pray and seek His face first and get His nod before you venture into this place. This is a demonic territory and Satan is absolutely in charge here thus it is off-limit to those who do not belong to Satan. As my wife and I enjoyed the beautiful weather-unfortunately it rained during the first three days we arrived at the Big Easy-but that didn't diminish our fun. The food, the mementoes, souvenirs, tourist attractions and sights invite you back over and over again. After satisfying my curiosity in some of the locales of my first favorite movie: James Bond's Live and Let Die' in the Big Easy, my mind went to my second movie of all time; The Devil's Advocate. Adapted into a movie in 1997 from a book authored by New Yorker, Andrew Neiderman in 1990, the movie shows the existence of Satan, demons and their agents in the lives of human beings in our world. It also shows the spiritual warfare going on between the forces of Good and God on the one hand and the fiendish forces of Bad and Satan on the other. Directed by Taylor Hackford and produced by the trios of Arnold Kopelson, Arnold Milchan and Anne Kopelson, the protagonist, John Milton, the owner and head of the New York law firm (played by Al Pacino), was the devil's incarnate who preferred to reign in hell rather than serve in heaven. All he wanted in life are the three things Satan used to derail our First Parents; Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden from their eternal destinies namely: the lure of the eyes, pride of life-over ambition and the deceitfulness of riches. Genesis 3: 6. These are the three traps of Satan and his demons for all human beings today. Kevin Lomax (played by Keanu Reeves), the successful defense attorney from Gainesville, Florida was brought up in a strict Christian home by his believing mother, Mrs. Alice Lomax (played by Judith Ivey) and his equally Christ-believing wife, Mary Ann Lomax (played by Charlize Theron), but money, pride and the world lured him to the Big Apple. The money, power and prestige which John Milton baited him are the same artifices Satan offered Adam and Eve and our Lord Jesus Christ in Genesis 3: 4-5 ('You will not certainly die,' the serpent said to the woman. For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God knowing good and evil.') And in Luke 4: 5-8: The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, 'I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.'

Kevin had the money, prestige, status and wealth but beyond the façade, we saw what he had to go through with his tormented soul and the anguish of rape, incest and demonism his wife had to endure. When Mrs. Mary Ann Lomax could have it no more, she wanted desperately to return back to Gainesville, Florida where she could get her sanity back, peace of mind and find rest for her soul. In 1 John 2: 16, we are warned: 'For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--comes not from the Father but from the world.' Satan pulled the same tricks with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ but failed and that is why our Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior, Lord and Master today. Few years ago, a successful website approached me to write for them here in the United States and I insisted that I would write only on Christian faith. The editorial team insisted that I should not bring in 'those religious stuffs or religious propaganda' to use their words, in my column and I told them to forget it. These religious stuffs are not religious propaganda but according to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in John 17: 17: 'Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.' Where can truth be found in our sin-soaked world today? Who does one believe in a world today where leaders have failed us, age-long institutions we once banked upon cannot be trusted, our financial institutions lie and those in positions of authority cannot be trusted? Where can truth be found in a world of moral relativism? Who can one entrust one's future into in our world today when fears and anxieties grip all human beings and the future is so uncertain? In a world we are told nothing is true anymore and you can do it if it feels good and you can construct your own reality as you deem fit in a post-modern world sinking deeper and deeper into moral cesspit, where does one seek refuge and find rest for one's soul? In a world gone amok and in this season of anomie, where can one find comfort? As our Lord Jesus Christ warned in Matthew 24: 21 of our day today: 'For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.' Apostle Paul amplified what our Lord Jesus Christ warned in Romans 2: 9: 'There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;' Whether in New Orleans in Louisiana , Cassadaga in Florida, in the Devil's Advocate and other celluloid, the time is coming and is already on us that the unchangeable words of the Jehovah Lord God Almighty, the Sovereign Lord God of the heavens, the earth and all that are in them are 'not mere religious stuffs or religious propaganda' but as Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 32: 47: 'They are not just idle words for you--they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." We are also crying today to you that the Words of Life as contained in the Holy Bible are not just idle words, religious stuffs or religious propaganda but are your life and will determine whether you spend eternity with the Lord God Almighty or with Satan, his demons and other disobedient human beings. It's your choice.

Dear Dr Fayemiwo, I read your article in reference to what your aunt is doing in your family. I can personally relate to what you said because I am going through a similar situation right now, but I strongly believe that God is in control because the only way to defeat those demonic agents is to be strongly rooted in God. How do you fight someone that carried you in her belly for 9 months as your mother? It's only if you have divine backing and in my situation almost everybody close to me have been initiated, so it's me against the world but I strongly believe that one with God is a majority--- Mr. John Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Thanks for your letter. I know what you're talking about, but I am baffled at the sense of self-denial that pervades the atmosphere and around the immediate family members of witches, wizards and warlocks. As part of the deception and spiritual-blindness of many people in the world, sons and daughters, including the close relatives of these demonic agents often hold briefs on their behalf to their collective perils. Because of either family hubris or egos, or clan solidarity or this lugubrious cliché; 'Don't let's wash our dirty linens in public,' or a combination of all these, some close relatives do not want Satanists operating in their families exposed. It is simply asinine and especially in Africa and that is why we remain largely backward. Take the example of the witch on astral-projection from Ibadan, Oyo State who fell from the sky in Apapa and Ajegunle Areas of Lagos and confessed of her atrocities, even her children came to defend her. No matter how weak and old a woman is, even if she is sick and disoriented, you can't make up bizarre stories of flying as a bird with fellow witches or that you killed your husband through witchcraft as that woman confessed when being interrogated. But who were the first to come to her defense? Her children, even though this woman has injured these children in many ways, they lied on behalf of their witch woman/mother. That is why I commend you for upholding the truth. I faced a similar situation when I told some close family relatives that Madam Aina Rachel Fayemiwo is a witch. Some of them stoutly rose to her defense, but two later believed me when they witnessed her malevolent hands in their tragedies.

As a child of the Living God, we do not just accuse anybody of witchcraft if the Holy Spirit didn't reveal it to us. Apostle Paul called out Bar-Jesus, a sorcerer in Paphos as disclosed in Acts 13: 6-11: 'They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, 'You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun. Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.' In Philippi, Apostle Paul rebuked a medium girl indwelled by a demon and called her out in Acts 16: 18: 'Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, 'These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.' She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, 'In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!' At that moment the spirit left her.' A sister once had the unfortunate situation of remaining single for years while her mates and ladies not as beautiful as her were getting married. Then a revelation came from an anointed man of God that her mother was the one stopping her from settling down. She was dumbfounded because the mother lived with her and was even helping her spiritually to find a good husband. Well, Mama projected a different face to the public, even sang in the church and showed concerns about the single status of her 'beloved' daughter, but beyond the façade, Mama had a different agenda. The reason Mama didn't want her daughter to settle down to a married life was her fear of rejection. 'If she marries, I'll be neglected and no one will take care of me,' Mama later confessed. Well, Mama was eventually sent back to Africa and that year the sister met her husband and she's now raising her own family. A brother had things very rough financially and materially for him few years after he got married and stared raising a family. He lost his job, to feed his family was hellish, his car packed-up and had no money to fix it and paying the school fees of his children was hard. His wife stuck with him and became the bread winner. The brother prayed, fasted, embarked on several sessions of night vigils, bound and bound all the demons but nothing seemed to be happening. The brother knew he was under spiritual attack but as the Holy Bible says in Romans 8: 26: '

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.' It is good to pray, fast and keep vigils, but what do you pray for if you don't know or lack the knowledge of the source of the problems? Well, the brother eventually met a Christian pastor with the gift of distinguishing between spirits (1 Corinthians 12: 10). The man of God sent for the wife. She confessed that she did it and argued: 'When he was rich and had money with a car, he hardly stayed at home but now, we may not have much to eat, but I like it this way. He listens to me now and does what I tell him to do.' Friend, life is serious, full of complexities and conundrums and no wonder William Shakespeare said in Macbeth Act 1, Scene 4; 'There is no art to find the mind's construction in the face.'

It is mind-boggling why most people find it difficult to believe that their mothers can be witches or their fathers can offer them as satanic rituals. Who sold Joseph into slavery for 20 pieces of silver? (Genesis 7: 18-35). Who sold and betrayed Samson into the hands of his enemies which eventually led to his death in the hands of the Philistines (Judges 16). Who betrayed our Lord Jesus Christ and sold him for 30 pieces of silver to the Pharisees and the Lord was later handed over to the Romans (Mathew 27). Over and over throughout human history, the enemies of a man or woman shall be enemies of his/her own household (Mathew 10: 36). There are some signs you can see in your life, in your immediate family and how your parents live that are pointers to these life's abnormalities and nudge you to be spiritually awaken and ceaselessly prompt you to ask basic fundamental questions. As I have noted in my previous article on Mdama Aina Rachel Fayemiwo; it is not the rule but the exception for a woman to give birth to ten children and eight of them died in weird and bizarre circumstances remaining two as we found in Madam Aina Rachel Fayemiwo's life. It is even more weird and bizarre when her grandchildren too begin to die as well in mysterious circumstances. Even the only surviving son, Mr. Adeoye a.k.a Lusedo should look at his own lifestyle and begin to wonder why things aren't panning out in his life. These are legitimate questions and posers which aren't just mere coincidences in any family but must be scrutinized.
