Champions League: Arsenal, Man U Draw Tough Oppositions In Q’Final

San Francisco March 19, (THEWILL) – Arsene Wenger's Arsenal will play European Champions Barcelona in the EUFA Champions League quarter-finals, while Manchester United have Bayern Munich to contend with in another quarter-final match.

Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan will play surprise entrants CSKA Moscow while Lyon, which edged out Real Madrid will meet local rivals, Bordeaux.

The winner of the United/Bayern match will then play either Lyon or Bordeaux in the semi-finals, while Arsenal or Barcelona will play the winner of the match between Inter and CSKA.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Manchester United/Bayern Munich tie is expected to provide the same fireworks that fans were treated to at the Camp Nou, Barcelona 1999 finals when United dramatically beat Bayern to win the trophy for that season. United's is current playing well in both the premiership and the Champions League. The first leg will be in Germany on March 30th while the return leg at Old Trafford will come up on April 7th.

The match between the worlds two most entertaining sides, Arsenal and Barcelona will also reenact the Champions League final of 2006 between both clubs when they play in London on March 31st and return to the Camp Nou for the return leg on April 6th. It will be interesting to see how former Arsenal captain, Thierry Henry fares in both games.

Lyon and Bordeaux, both French sides will play on 21st April and 27th April.

Barcelona has been tipped to retain the trophy, but Arsenal; Manchester United; Lyon and Inter Milan are keen on winning it too.
