Gbadamosi Blasts Tinubu For Insulting Obas In Yoruba Land.
Surprises loomed the glamorous celebration of the 80 years Birthday of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, over the careless and senseless comment uttered by the fomer governor of Lagos state and the National leader of the APC, Alh. Aare Ago Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the ceremony claiming that all Obas in Yoruba land are useless except the celebrant, Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebuland, the Oba of Lagos, Riliwanu Akinolu and one other Oba which he didnt disclose his name.
The Ikorodu born politician, developer and a scion of the Gbadamosi family, Mr. Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, blasted the former governor of Lagos state for denting the yoruba culture by insulting the Obas in Yoruba land.
Mr. Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, who had took his time to respond on his facebook timeline wrote: “The arrogance of some people is beginning to become nauseating. How can one useless thief pronounce all Yoruba Obas useless and there is calm across the land? The outrageous statement credited to the owner of the APC today calls for responses from all blue-bloods in Yorubaland.
I am from Ikorodu, and my Oba, His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Oba Salaudeen Oguntade Oyefusi, Ayangburen II, is most certainly not useless!! The Akran of Badagry, His Royal Majesty, Aholu Wheno Menu-Toyi 1, is certainly not useless, and neither are countless other royal personages across Yorubaland.
