The Chief of Staff of Imo State Government, Sir Jude Ejiogu has commissioned the newly constructed Nkwo-market at Ezeogba Emekuku in Owerri North council area of the state.

The market was built by the self efforts of all Ezeogba women in the LGA to complement with the massive transformation of the present administration in the state and as well, reduce the rate of suffering they undergo as a result of lack of market closer to them.

Commissioning the market, Sir Ejiogu described the project as one of the structures ever constructed by women in the state in appreciation for the selfless services of Governor Rochas Okorocha's government and appealed to their counterparts in other communities to emulate the gesture.

He assured them that the present government in the state would not relent in ensuring the rehabilitation and transformation of women in all communities as well as continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the citizens which previous governments failed to demonstrate.

Speaking also, President of the women wing, Lolo Angela Ohiri while thanking the state government for all her efforts in ensuring prompt salvage of the society from all economic recklessness further assured of the women's willingness to continue to attract more relevant projects in support of Governor Rochas Okorocha's led rescue mission government in the state.
