AGAIN, FURIOUS WORKERS SHUT DOWN CHEVRON'S ESCRAVOS PLANT.

The workers had accused Chevron contracting firms working on the project of flouting industrial laws, decrying irregularities in their salaries, pay-offs and other allowances.

The contracting firms being accused by the workers include Dozik, Pimoff, BGI, Gibies, Tomba, Sukuru, Unique, Sunshine Enterprises, Bilozis, Everest and Jad, among others.

Gibles Nigeria Limited was mentioned as Gibies among the list of contracting firms working on the EGTL Project flouting industrial laws, decrying irregularities in their salaries, Pay Off and other allowances.

This Rejoinder is to state Gibles Nigeria Limited position on the ongoing protest by the workers as captured by your publication:

We debunk such comment on the image of our company. We don't owe our workers. We remain committed to ensuring that we work with the Client to resolve whatever be the legitimate agitation of the workers. Until a resolution is reached, Gibles cannot apportion new benefits to her workers.
