Ministerial Nominnee : Wakil Mohammed ,a Perfect Choice- Borno Group

A political pressure group,Borno Progressive Movement ,has described the nomination of former House leader ,Hon Wakil Mohammed as a minister representing Borno state as ” a perfect choice that is very representative of the interest of the state”

In a statement signed by its Coordinator ,Mallam Ayuba Jaffar and Secretary,Tanko Abdulahi,the group said president Goodluck Jonathan had picked “a thoroughbred grassroots politician,a true party man and an accomplished professional who is best suited to represent Borno state at the Federal Executive Council.

“The nominee has served in various capacities including his acting vice chairmanship of the North East chapter of the party . No one doubt that Mohammed is a man of the people; those of us from Borno state can confirm that the man is not only on ground but represent the very credible crop of leaders within the Borno  state chapter of the party. We identify with the nominee.

“Our people are pleased with the nomination of Hon Mohammed. We know he is an home grown politician well liked and loved by elders,youth and women and whose ability to build consensus knows no bound. We all know him to be a true democrat who at every point demonstrates  his affinity with his people even when he has a nationwide connections and contacts”,the statement noted.

The group stated that “it is conversant with professional and political life of Hon Mohammed” and that ” it is convinced that the nominee as a minister will continue to be a team player in the implementation of the president's transformation agenda.

“We commend Mr president for selecting one of our own as a minister. The president will find in the nominee a vibrant mind,a skillful professional,a great mobilizer and a man of integrity capable of performing to expectation in whatever portfolio he s posted”, the group noted
