Naira depreciated marginally today against Dollar

The Naira depreciated marginally against the dollar at the official and parallel markets on Monday.

The Naira at the official market was sold at N157.88 as against N 156 offered on Friday, Nov.8.

It was exchange to the dollar at N165.5 from N160.5 it achieved at the Bureau de Change (BDC)on Nov. 8.

At the “black’' market, the Naira traded for N164 to the dollar, the same amount sold last Friday, Nov.8.

The currency against the Pound was sold at N243 making it gained N1 from the N244.50 it was offered on Nov.8 at the official market.

It also appreciated against the Pound at the BDC but traded at N 261 higher than N262 sold at the 'black market'' on Friday.

Also, the Naira against the Euro went for N218 at the official market and the BDC sold at N225, the same amount sold respectively last Friday.

It slightly appreciated against the Euro at the black market as it sold for N225 from the N225.5 on Nov.8 at the black market.
