Few weeks after Reginald Chukwu of Nigeria Films suggested the stowaway boy Daniel ohiekena be groomed for a positive cause by the government rather than prosecute him, a volunteer group known as De RAUFS has indicated interest in the welfare of the young lad to grant him scholarship to continue his education up to the university level.

The young lad was released today by the DSS to the Edo State government. Its was gathered that the young lad was scheduled to meet up with the Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole as at the time of the report.

De RAUF however came to locate the young boy in the Edo state government house to reaffirm the scholarship it earlier gave the young lad to continue his education up to the university level.

The mother of the boy confirmed his return to Benin. She said, "I received a call yesterday inviting me to the state Ministry of Women
Affairs. I went to the office and was told that my child had been taken to DSS. I went there and saw Daniel. They did not allow me to
show him, but he was looking good."

She said after a short session with DSS, she was asked to go and wait at the ministry of women affairs.

The quick response to our call of duty shows Nigerians truly listens. Here's wishing the young lad becomes of great importance to the development of the country with his skills and talents
