Madam Rose Uzezi Marks 70th Birthday

Madam Rose Uzezi of Irri community in Isoko south Local Government Area of Delta State recently marked her 70th birthday at Christ Crusaders Missionaries International, Ajegunle , Apapa, Lagos in a grand style.

Speaking at the event Mrs. Rose Uzezi said I am very grateful to God to attain such a golden age. Though, the road was very rough when I lost my dear husband and living the children behind for me at the means of meager resources from my trade proceeds was not easy.. I tried to make sure my children got their best education with my little resources. God also blessed me with egghead children, she enthused.

Emmanuel Akpughe one of the sons of the celebrant said my mother is a role model to emulate. She has great reputation in the society which we the children are toeing on her path. I want to thank everybody that attended the birthday ceremony.

Bishop E. J. Oterai who doubles as a guest speaker spoke extensively on a topic' Covenant principle for longevity and prosperity said longevity can only come with celebration of life if someone is right with God.

He quoted Ephesians 6:1-2 and Exodus 20 where he said the Holy Bible instructed us children to obey our parents so that our days on earth will be prolonged. She is a wonderful woman that dedicates her time to things of God. We must learn from our mother, he said.

Those that graced the birthday bash was Rev. Benedict Eto, District Head of Christ crusaders Missionaries International, Ilube Bamiyi, Bankers, Industrialists, friends and community leaders.
