I've received enough donations for my kidney transplant – OJB reveals, expresses gratitude for support

African Queen producer, OJB Jezreel, has disclosed that he has gotten the N16million needed for his kidney transplant. He also confirmed that the operation is scheduled for mid- August.

Speaking at a press conference to disclose the update on his status, he confirmed that Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, had given him the total sum of $100,000 that he requested for, adding that no further donations should again be made to any source in respect of his case.

'I really thank God for governor Amaechi's kind heart. All I can say is that God will fight his battles as he saved my life,' he said.

According to him, 'I thank all Nigerians from all walks of life who heeded my appeal for funds to go for my kidney transplant'.

'God bless everyone. I appreciate all those who stood by me one way or the other. I'm sincerely grateful and feel blessed that people could go the extra mile just to make me well again', he added.
