Jonathan, Ghanaian President, govs, envoys, others honour Achebe

President Goodluck Jonathan has arrived Ogidi, the hometown of the late Prof Chinua Achebe for the final burial rites of the literary icon.

Also attending the burial service at St. Philips Anglican Church, Ogidi, Anambra state are President John Mahama of Ghana, delegations of the Bishop of Canterbury and the United States; eminent statesmen, Chief Alex Ekwueme and Chief Emeka Anyaoku; Governors Emmanuel Uduaghan, Rochas Okorocha, Theodore Orji, Peter Obi among other dignitaries.

Prof. Achebe will be buried later today.
