Okorocha Injured In Auto Crash

SAN FRANCISCO, April 19, (THEWILL) - Imo State Governor, Mr. Rochas Okorocha sustained minor injuries to the head Friday when his vehicle collided with another vehicle head-on in Orlu Local Government Area.

Okorocha, who briefed journalists on the accident, said he was on a scheduled inspection of projects in the Orlu zone when the crash occurred.

Okorocha had a bandage on his head when he briefed journalists in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

He said his personal physician had treated the wounds adding that he would seek further treatment and evaluation later.

A statement later issued by his spokesman, Mr. Ebere Ozoukwa, advised the general public not to panic and go about with their normal duties “since the Governor is in a good and stable condition and responding to necessary treatment.”
